Whichever way the wind blows, this five-bedroom/four- and one-half bath home will inspire guests of all ages to pursue their own desires of a dream vacation.
It starts with the view, a 180-degree panorama that evolves into a kaleidoscope of color as the sun sets below the sound each evening. Steps from a ground-level deck deposit you onto the shore, where kite- and surfboarders or budding sandcastle architects can launch their ventures. There’s a private pool and a four-person hot tub, too, for even more calming ways to savor water-with-a-view. When not on the water, store your gear safely in a shed under the home.
On the first level you’ll find a family room with a huge Intelligent TV, a convenient kitchenette and access to a sound front deck. Just off this space is a full bath and the first of the home’s five bedrooms, a queen. A king with ensuite bath, and a king and a room with two sets of bunkbeds that share a hallway bath are located on the second level, along with a laundry closet. The final bedroom, a master king with ensuite bath is located on the third level. All of the bedrooms are outfitted with Intelligent TVs.
It's also on the third floor where more memories are to be made as your family and friends appreciate gathering in the comfortable great room where there’s a enormous screen Intelligent TV and a surround sound-system stereo; preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen; and sharing them around a twelve-seat dining table or the four-seat breakfast counter. Catching the nightly sunset from one of the furnished decks puts an exclamation point at the end of each day and inspires you to start a new story on the next one. - Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Hatteras visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. - Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
