The 3,500-square-foot Sun Runner is the brightest spot on the beach! The third level offers magnificant vistas of the ocean and sunrises, and the sound offers impressive sunset vistas. The third floor has been remodeled and offers a great room with cathedral ceilings, new floor, a half bath, and a comfortable resort living room with a 55-inch LCD SmartTV with Netflix streaming . The brand new full kitchen has new cabinets, new granite countertops, new appliances, a breakfast island, tile floors, and an oceanfront dining area. Wide furnished decks are on all levels. The third-floor first bedroom is an oceanfront main bedroom with a king-size bed, a 32-inch LCD TV, a full bath, and sun deck access. Level two offers an oceanfront main bedroom featuring a king bed, a 32-inch LCD TV, a full bath, and deck access. The third bedroom is oceanfront with a twin-over-double bunk bed, one twin bed, and an LCD TV. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the fourth bedroom, which features a queen bed, an LCD TV, and an oceanfront deck. The fifth bedroom features a king bed, an LCD TV, a full bathroom, and deck access.

The ground floor has a game room with a pool table, a 32-inch LCD TV, a stereo, a kitchenette equipped with a full refrigerator, and an outside deck with a private hot tub. The theater room features a 65-inch LCD SmartTV with Netflix streaming, and seating for seven guests. The sixth bedroom is oceanfront with a twin-over-double bed, an LCD TV, and a full bathroom shared with the game room. The seventh bedroom features a twin-over-double bedroom, an LCD TV, and a bathroom shared with the game room. The laundry room is convenient to all the rooms. Guests can savor an oceanfront private pool, an outside shower, beach access, and plenty of parking. Sun Runner offers a memorable vacation with plenty of beach area to appreciate!

The pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.

How to get the best rental value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
