SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo - Sand Dollar Ct. - The splendid SLAINTE (pronounced slawn-cha), which is a Gaelic word for Cheers or Good Health, has rather a few attractions to offer. Outdoor enticements include a private pool, cabana half bath next to the outdoor shower, hot tub and basketball goal. The sound vistas from this home are spectacular, and SLAINTE is all decked out with opportunities for taking advantage of the scenery! The ground level has a queen master bedroom, a bedroom with two pyramid bunk beds, a full bath, and a game room with wet bar and pool table. The mid-level features four queen master bedrooms with vistas from the wraparound decks. The top floor is the main gathering place, where you'll find ample dining space, a sizable kitchen and a great room with elegant vistas. A cavernous king master bedroom with double vanity and deck access completes this level. (Fireplace seen in photos is not available for guest use.)

- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Salvo. Book your Hatteras vacation in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. - Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
