The best vacation recipe begins with this handsome, 3,000-square-foot, oceanside Sun N Waves. The bottom level has good parking, a carport, an outdoor shower, and is an simple walk from the beach. On the living level, the first bedroom has a pyramid bed and a crib. A convenient full hall bath is close to the laundry nook. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV, and deck access to a porch featuring a private hot tub. The hot tub is accessible from the ground level stairs. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. The fourth bedroom has a king-size bed, deck access, an LCD TV, and a full bath. On the second level, the great room has tall ceilings, a half bath, an entertainment center with an LCD TV, complimentary WIFI, and comfortable resort furnishings. Wide furnished decks, a screened porch, and a modest covered porch allow for full access to vistas and sun. Sun N Waves's well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast island and is close to the dining table. The fifth bedroom is a main bedroom with a queen bed, an LCD TV and DVD player, and a full bath.

Things to Know
The pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, try changing your family's Hatteras trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback.
