SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo – Wind Over Waves With unobstructed sound vistas, rigging area in the front of the home and the community boat launch merely feet away, it's simple to see why this vacation rental home is a WINDSURFER'S DREAM. The community sound boardwalk is also an painless walk down the peaceful street. Stow the boards in the roomy, covered secure ground level storage area with racks and concrete floor, and relax in the private pool or hot tub on the second level deck. The first level features two bedrooms that share a full bath (queen, bunk bed with trundle). Appreciate fun filled nights in the second level game room with pool table and TV/DVD, then get a good nighttime's rest in one of three queen bedrooms that access another full bath. The king master bedroom can be found on the third level featuring Jacuzzi and handsome sound vistas. There is another master bedroom up a flight of steps with king bed and private bath. The great room is the ideal place to relax with 42" flat screen TV/DVD/stereo, dining area with photogenic sound vistas, ample kitchen space, and bright, cheerful decor and furnishings. Savor an evening sunset on the deck, and you'll be happy you turned this WINDSURFER'S DREAM into reality.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best value, try changing your family's Hatteras vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.
