SEMI-OCEANFRONT Waves - Sea Vista Dr. - FOREVER SUNSHINE and memorable moments can be found at this charmingly-decorated beach home located across a peaceful cul de sac from the beach, with the convenient community boardwalk just one lot away. Gaze upon sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the lake from decks on both the east and west sides of the home. Upon arrival and throughout the week, save your energy for the waves and send your suitcases and groceries up the Stair Tamer suitcases lift. Then let your day melt away in the extravagant hot tub found on the broad pool deck while the kids splash in the private swimming pool.

A few steps up from the pool, step in the slider to the well-appointed game room with pool table, half bath and kitchenette providing the ideal place for preparing and setting up lunch between beach and pool time. A TV lounge accompanies the game room with bar seating and comfortable couches in front of the huge flat screen TV. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 single) on this level share a full bath between them.

Choose from four more inviting and well-sized bedrooms on the mid-level including two king master suites each with private bathroom, and another two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 single) that share a full bath between them. The washer and dryer are located on this level as well.

The top level great room impresses with high, vaulted ceilings, enormous sectional couch, and beach-themed décor. A bespoke-constructed wall unit homes a sizable flat screen TV for evening enjoyment as meals are prepared in the close by kitchen. Seat the entire group together at the 14-person dining table while another 3 seats at the breakfast bar provide seating flexibility. An adjacent sunroom offers seating with a view of both ocean and lake along with doors to top level decks on both sides of the home.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Book your Hatteras vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses.
