That is because LAUGHING GULL LANDING requires no compromise — everything you want in a restorative getaway is here. With pops of blue evoking sea and sky, this five-bedroom, three full, one half bath, one outdoor half bath home offers a harmonious sense of place that invites you to relax, play and entertain both inside and out. Although the beach beckons just a few steps away, the freshly reimagined pool area is a magnet for the whole family, drawing everybody together to swim in the huge saltwater pool, chill in a chaise lounge chair, soothe tired bodies in the six-person hot tub, or take a exhilarating outdoor shower. Make a toast to togetherness with your favorite frozen beverages prepared in the blender at the poolside Tiki bar. A freshly added half-bath is located just off the new lounge area for added convenience. On the first floor of the home, you will find four bedrooms: one with two sets of bunk beds that shares a bath with a queen bedroom; another with two twin beds that shares a Jack-and-Jill bath with a queen bedroom.

Want to feel the sea breeze on your face? The first level deck obliges with comfortable seating to sit back, watch for dolphins and dream. You will quickly realize that no art can compete with the gorgeous ocean view that greets you from the great room’s floor-to-ceiling windows on the top level. Perhaps the view will inspire you to prepare a fresh catch-of-the-day feast in the open and airy kitchen, complete with a four-stool breakfast bar. Share it with your family around the 10/12 seat dining table, an oceanfront space that flows conveniently into the living area. Also on this level is a convenient half bath and a queen master bedroom suite with ocean vistas and access to the sun deck that runs the length of the home. Located in Salvo, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
