Perched just a few steps from the shore and miles away from life back home, this seven-bedroom/seven-full and one-half-bath home offers four levels of inspired vacation living where entertaining, playing, relaxing, and sweet dreams all seamlessly coexist under one roof.

Beginning on the ground level, you’ll discover how simple it is to ease into your vacation with a pool, patio, hot tub, picnic area, and covered outdoor bar providing an inviting respite. Rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower and head into the first-level game room for a competitive game of pool or to simply kick back with a cold drink from the wet bar while the TV keeps you posted on the latest scores. Next to the game room, a media room with a 54-inch plasma TV keeps the kids enthralled as they pile onto a giant modular couch to watch their favorite movies. There are two bedrooms on this level, too, one with a pyramid bunk that shares a bath with the game room and a queen master bedroom with its own bath and access to a deck.

Take the convenient elevator up to the first level and find four more queen master bedrooms. The final bedroom, a king master bedroom, is located on the second level. All of these bedrooms feature private baths, ceiling fans, TVs and deck access to appreciate the ocean breezes and the sound of waves tumbling ashore. It’s also on this level that you’ll discover that memories-in-the-making come conveniently as your family and friends savor game nighttime and some TV time in the open and airy great room, prepare meals in the roomy kitchen, and share them around a 10-seat dining table, with additional seats available at the kitchen counter. Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.   • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance.
