Simply divine, Coral Castle is as good as it gets - located 50 feet to the sound-front boardwalk and boasting amazing vistas of the ocean, the sound, the lighthouse, and subdivision lakes. Two kayaks are available for use at the sound. While there, also indulge in fishing, swimming, and paddleboarding. Access to the sound side is via the boardwalk, just a short walk from the front door. New upgrades for 2022 include all bedrooms are now equipped with 39-inch intelligent Roku TVs, a gas grille being added, and the main living area having a 65-inch Roku TV.

This freshly modernized 5,000-square-foot, sound-side, bespoke home opens with a carport, an outdoor shower, a private saltwater pool, a hot tub, and plenty of sundecks. It also sits on its own upsized pond and has a enormous concrete parking area for complete privacy. If you didn't get your fill of watery fun while visiting the beach or fishing in the Gulf, go for a exhilarating dip in the pool and take in the beautiful scenery. The first level features a game room with a pool table, a mini-kitchen, an entertainment package, an elevator, and deck access to the swimming pool. The second floor is home to two bedrooms, each with deck access. The fourth and fifth sound-view bedrooms are close to the laundry room. Head upstairs to the third floor to find the sixth and seventh bedrooms with deck access and whirlpool tubs, as well as a dedicated theater room with constructed-in surround sound. Linens and towels are included, and beds are made for guest arrival. The fourth floor is a striking great room with tall ceilings, modren furnishings, a half-bath, a fireplace, an entertainment package, access to outdoor sundecks, and angelic vistas of the sunrises and sunsets. Located in Avon, this vacation home is on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Find your perfect rental home:

• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are high season in Avon. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
