Located in a semi-private waterfront resort designed for active beach life, this waterfront home is the ideal place to spend a long and calming hideaway with someone you appreciate. Inside, the home enjoys two levels of comfort and convenience, with tons of natural light cascading in through broad, ocean-facing windows, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of space for everybody to move around. The main level features an open concept that encompasses the living, dining, and kitchen areas, so you can keep up with conversation, no matter what you're up to. The full kitchen includes all the appliances and counter space the family chef could ask for, and the dining table has seating for six dinner guests. You'll adore taking your afternoon meals outside on the wrap-around deck, and you can wrap up an evening soaking in the lower-level's private hot tub. Spend the day on a hot-weather hike then cool off with a swim in the shared pool before coming back to spread out in the living room to watch a good movie or show on the living room's mounted flatscreen TV. Please note that the fireplace is not available for guest use.

Our top Hatteras rental home tips and tricks:
Money saving strategies:
- Summer months are high season in Avon. To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Hatteras area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines have coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Make a plan and pick the perfect Hatteras rental home:
