The private swimming pool has a constructed-in wet deck for calming in the sun while getting your feet wet and a constructed-in kiddie pool so you can also keep a close eye on the little ones. Sidle up to the poolside lounge area with Tiki bar for a cool drink, take a dip in the bubbly hot tub, or daydream in the shaded under-home area with seating, and ping pong table while dinner sizzles on the close by grilles.

Money saving strategies:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Summer time is high season in Salvo. Reserve your Hatteras rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.
