Finding your perfect rental home:

• In the Hatteras area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Frisco. To find the most suitable rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
• Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.
