OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - Dean Ave. - Closer to the ocean than many oceanfront homes, tales of the high seas and elegant vistas will be told forever after a stay at OCEAN’S LORE. Take a dip in the pool or lounge poolside outside this handsome home. Access all levels of this home with the exterior steps. Keep the kids on the deck while you soak in the bubbly hot tub or let them go inside to the game room.
Challenge everybody to a game of pool or relax and watch TV with a DVD player or listen to music with the striking stereo system. The kids will play while you mix up your favorite vacation drink at the wet bar with a refrigerator and sink. Tuck the kids into one of the two bedrooms on this level, one with a pyramid bunk and the other with a queen bed. A full bath is on this level as well.
Snag your bedroom first and choose from one of the three bedrooms on the second level. Three master bedrooms with private baths and TVs are on this level. Two king master bedrooms has access to the outside deck so you can watch the sunrises over the ocean and catch the ideal picture with the famed Rodanthe Pier in the shot. The final room has two pyramid bunk beds. You can always access the deck from the hallway entrance as well.
On the final level, walk into the extraordinary great room with natural light coming from every side. Giant windows and glass doors give you the best vistas from anywhere. - Summertime is high season in the Hatteras area. Book your vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

- Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
