When it's time for a good nighttime's rest, take your pick of three bedrooms on the second level: one master with two double beds, one king master with handicap friendly bathroom with roll-under sink and roll-in shower, and one with two bunk beds that shares a semi-private bath with the den, which offers a day bed with trundle and LCD TV. All rooms on this level have access to the deck. When to go & When to book:

  • To find the most suitable rental home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
