OCEANVIEW Avon - Moore Way Boy, do we have a beach home for you! BUCK'S BEACH HOME, just five tons from the ocean, offers the complete package. A Stair Tamer is at the home to make unloading suitcases and groceries a breeze. An under home entry from the concrete carports leads to the first floor where all three bedrooms and two baths are located including the king master suite with private bath. Each bedroom has direct access to a enormous wraparound shaded deck. On the second floor you'll find a sizable great room with cathedral ceilings that offers ample room for dining and entertaining. The great room opens to a huge sundeck with striking vistas and the screened-in porch with hot tub. The observation deck offers mesmerizing ocean vistas. Located next door to the Avon Fishing Pier and restaurant.

*Guests have access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool & Tennis courts. You will sign in with the attendant using the home name.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Find your perfect rental home:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection.   • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
