The Boiler is a third floor, water view 3-bedroom,2.5-bathroom penthouse suite.
The Boiler features teak floors, tile bathrooms, carpeted bedrooms and a full modern award-winning kitchen with an s-bend granite drink bar. The living room features leather furnishings, a flat screen TV, cable and Apple TV. Space to entertain includes a dining room table with seating for 6 and bar seating for 4. The primary bedroom has a private full bathroom, walk-in tile shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom features a king bed while the third has a queen bed. Each bedroom has a flatscreen TV with cable. The shared fullbath has a bathtub shower combo. The living area and primary bedroom provide access to the east facing deck with Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound waterviews. The bedrooms provide access to a water view balcony.

The Boiler does not have the direct waterfront vistas of our waterfront suites but does offer enough water vistas to soothe the soul and keep you in touch with the conditions to hit the water when it’s peaking.

Guests of Watermen’s Retreat get kite launching and landing access at REAL Watersports and 10% off at the REAL Watersports Rental Shop.

Additional amenities include Wi-Fi internet access, an in-suite washer and dryer, base level secure gear storage, covered parking, an elevator and fast access to REAL Watersports and Watermen’s Bar and Grille. All Watermen’s Retreat properties include bed linens, made beds upon arrival, bathroom towels, coffee filters, drip coffee maker, salt & pepper, dishwasher soap tabs, dish soap, sponge and kitchen towels.

Our three-bedroom water view penthouses are named after two of the “day of the year” surfing locations in Cape Hatteras. When you score either of these two spots on a 5-star day, you will never forget it: “The Boiler” and “The Cove.”

About the Area

This condo is located in Waves. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting.

Sticking to a budget:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserve your Hatteras rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
