OCEANFRONT - Waves - Welcome to WAVES PARADISE! Gaze from the deck and refresh your soul with postcard vistas of the beach, pelicans, dolphins, windsports, and waves. Stroll to the beach and play in the waves, build sandcastles, or fish in the surf. Return home and splash in your own private outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub, hang out in the outdoor pool area, and grille up your masterpieces on either the charcoal or gas grille. Your vacation will be memorable in this roomy, open concept, 8-bedroom estate in the serene village of Waves.

The fenced-in pool area is ideal to relax and listen to the ocean waves and feel the salt breeze. Laze in the sizable pool or star gaze while soaking in the hot tub. Gated for safety, the covered area of the pool deck has private outdoor showers and storage area for your beach gear. Step inside to the cavernous game room equipped with everything you need for quality time with the family. Ease back into one of the recliners or play at the game table. Challenge the family to a game of pool, watch your favorite streamed movie on the huge flatscreen TV, or listen to high-def music. Snack at the wet bar with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Put the kids to bed in the bunk bedroom with a twin-over-full pyramid bunk, with a close by hall bath. Choose from two king master bedrooms each with an attached private bath. All bedrooms in the home have a flatscreen Roku-equipped TV.

The second level has four bedrooms, all with access to an outside deck. Choose from one of the two king master bedrooms each with a private attached bath, ocean vistas and access to the mid-level deck. The other two bedrooms use the close by hall bath. A king bedroom with vistas of the ocean and deck access and the final bedroom with two pyramid, twin-over-full, bunk beds. A washer and dryer are on this level.

The top level opens to the huge great room with a killer ocean view. Beach décor and the natural light bouncing from the vaulted ceiling will lift your spirit. Bring out your inner chef in the giant refreshed, well-equipped kitchen. Put the family to work with ample counter space and a giant breakfast bar that seats six. Feast at the dining table that seats ten for a grandiose meal, surrounded by ocean vistas on three sides. After dinner, you can catch up in the loft, grab some board games, puzzles, or books from the bookshelf, and play on the game table. Or, gather in the great room and watch a streamed or Bluray movie on the enormous flatscreen hanging over the fireplace (not for guest use). Walk outside on the deck and watch as the sun glitters on the ocean.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. • The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
• Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides have deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.
