OCEANFRONT Avon — Ocean View Dr. — Turn an ordinary beach hideaway into a sensational one when you bring your family to SUNSATIONAL, a seven-bedroom/eight-and one-half bath home perched on the ocean’s edge. Sitting on a half-acre in a peaceful cul-de-sac, this majestic home is ideal for multiple or multigenerational families who seek space to spread out, come together and savor their own private retreats. SUNSATIONAL fulfills all three.

You’ll notice thoughtful amenities from the moment you arrive, including a roomy driveway, an elevator to make moving in a breeze, and a private walkway to transport you to the beach with ease. Heed the call of the ocean waves or perhaps the gentler waters of the enormous swimming pool, or lounge in a chaise to work on your tan. Nearby is an outdoor shower, cabana bath, 6-person hot tub and a poolside bar to ensure refreshment is never far away. Take a break from the sun and heat up the competition in the ground level game room that features a pool table, granite bar, kitchenette with refrigerator with ice maker and a big screen TV. This level also features a sauna where you can melt away the anxiety of daily life. All of the home’s bedrooms are ensuite masters, two of which are located on this level: a room with two kid-friendly pyramid bunk beds; and one with a king. Four additional ensuite master bedrooms, three kings and one queen, are located on the second level. One of them is accessible-friendly and three of them have access to the furnished oceanfront covered deck. There is also a media room on this level with a surround sound TV and a sleeper couch.

Climb the curved stairway (or ride the elevator) to the top level, where an open layout brings everybody together in opulent comfort. The final bedroom, an ensuite king master, is found on this level and features a huge, jetted tub and deck access. The cavernous and well-equipped kitchen features a Sub-Zero® refrigerator, two dishwashers, two ovens, two icemakers and a center prep island, giving avid cooks plenty of room to create family-favorite meals. There’s a five-seat eat-at counter for coffee and breakfasts and a huge round dining table where everybody can appreciate meals that last well into the evening. Settle into the great room’s seating area to catch your favorite shows and movies on the sizable screen TV, or getaway to the ship’s watch, a comfortable nook to curl up with a book. Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.

  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.
