Get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
