The Lucky Oyster’s unique location offers remarkable vistas of the Preserve Area to the south, often including sights of grazing deer, migratory wildlife, and an assortment of bird species. On clear nights and early mornings, the light from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse can be seen across the park. Lucky Oyster also offers gorgeous exhibitions of the Pamlico Sound and sunsets, the Atlantic Ocean and sunrises, and striking astrological star gazing. This 4,680 sq. ft. home is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac, one lot from the ocean, but with no homes directly in front, and offers handsome ocean and sound vistas. The gas range and constructed-in wall oven and microwave will please any chef. A breakfast bar seats six. • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To get the best rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection.
