OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - South Shore Drive Feel great vacation memories of LA VIDA LOCA. You'll have your own private swimming pool for family fun, shaded hot tub just for calming, and convenient cabana half bath close by. The boardwalk provides painless access to our handsome beach, just a short walk away on the cul de sac. The village offers a walking/bicycle path making it simple to get to the Rodanthe Fishing Pier, eateries, shopping and other activities all within walking distance from the home. The first floor features a dry entry that leads to 2 downstairs bedrooms that share a full bath. The second floor has 3 bedrooms (1 master) and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms open onto a shaded mid-level oceanside deck. The entry also opens onto a covered front porch. This level has a laundry nook with washer/dryer. The broad top floor great room has vaulted ceilings and sliders that open onto a wide furnished deck that features gorgeous ocean and sound vistas for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. You will adore the well-equipped kitchen with enormous breakfast bar, sizable dining area and a convenient powder room. If you like having fun, appreciating life and living it up, you will really find the good life in the splendid LA VIDA LOCA vacation home.

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Rodanthe. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
