As you make your way through the home, you'll notice bright, beachy decor creating the ideal island setting. There are TVs in all of the bedrooms and two levels of outdoor decks where you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. Wake up to the sound of waves crashing and end your days with memorable vistas.

The upper-level living room holds a lavish, leather sectional with enough seating for your whole crew. Preparing meals is a breeze in the bespoke kitchen equipped with all new stainless steel appliances, new granite countertops, and a huge stainless steel sink.

When to visit Salvo & When to book:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Hatteras area. Reserve your Hatteras rental home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
