Sans Souci is a comfortable vacation home located on a private lake in the handsome St. Waves subdivision! Within simple walking distance to the community tennis courts, community pool, stores, and eateries, San Souci is the ideal location for an Outer Banks vacation. On the first level, you will find a living area, with constructed-in seating and a ideal gathering spot for the kids! Also on this level, you'll find four gorgeously sized bedrooms, two with queens, one with a double, and the third with two twin bunk beds, plus a shared hall bath.

The second living level features a cavernous great room with a log fireplace and deck access to the hot tub. The gorgeously equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating while the dining area close by has access to the screened porch and makes mealtimes indoors or out a breeze. The primary bedroom on this level has a private bath, deck access, and fantastic vistas perched over the lake.

The elevated sitting area is the ideal place to curl up with a good book and hide from the rest of your event. Just gaze out the windows at the lake and daydream about the vacation adventures that will follow in the coming days. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Hatteras restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.   • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
