Savor charming vistas of the ocean and sound when you stay at Northern Comfort! Comfort is definitely what will be waiting for you at this pretty four-bedroom, three-bathroom home fronting a private lake. Plenty of great vistas can be taken in on the furnished sun decks and from the crow's nest, while others may want to relax in the screened porch with a hot tub. Indoors, you'll find airy living spaces with a high ceiling in the comfortable great room with a fireplace. The dining room will be ideal for appreciating those delicious meals and offers a wet bar and commercial ice maker. Two main bedrooms offer a king bed and a queen bed and share a bath with a Jacuzzi tub. The additional two bedrooms offer two single beds and two bunk beds. Perhaps curl up to write a postcard or read a book in the cozy loft area.

Plenty of entertainment options are available for both the young and young at heart. Multiple TVs, two DVD players, a VCR player, and a stereo/CD player will provide tons of viewing and listening fun. There are also plenty of games, puzzles, and books and outdoors you can have fun shooting some hoops. Appreciate access to St. Waves Pool and Tennis during your stay for additional recreational fun.   • June, July, and August are high season in Waves. To get the best value, change your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance.
