Waves Crest, Islander Condos Unit 17-B, is a well-maintained top-floor suite that offers elevated vistas of both the ocean and the shared pool. Savor watching the ocean from the private sun deck, primary bedroom, or great room. Cozy, peaceful, and well-furnished throughout, you'll savor the charming decor as well as the 40-inch intelligent TV in the great room and newer TVs in both bedrooms. The wooden walkway and walkover stairs make beach access a breeze. Hot and cold outdoor showers under the building, a Bar-B-Que grille, a picnic table, and a fish-cleaning table complete the picture.   • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses.   • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
