When it's time to end the day, the master bedroom welcomes you with a king bed, private bath, TV, oceanfront deck access and brilliant blue ocean vistas. Just steps away is the second bedroom with a queen and a single bed along with the full hall bath next to the laundry closet with your own washer/dryer. Not only is this property located in the village of Rodanthe, central to shopping, eateries and activities, but there are incredible resort amenities on site including a grilling area with picnic tables, outdoor showers, enormous community pool (open May - September) and a nice, wide boardwalk to the beach. Finding your perfect vacation home:

• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer is the most expensive season in Rodanthe. To book the largest rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Owners sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Record a video to document the condition of the property.
• Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
