OCEANVIEW Avon - Hatteras Lane Imagine yourself JUS' CHILLIN' on the decks of this amazing beach home in the middle of Avon within walking distance of shopping, eateries and of course the beach. Impeccable decor, bespoke cabinetry, and fresh furnishings are just a few notable features. A roomy game room welcomes you into the home with pool table and 2 enormous flat screen TVs, one by the pool table and the other by the kitchenette with sink, wine cooler, and bar where you can sidle up and watch the game. A half bath is conveniently close by for fast trips in from the private swimming pool which is just outside the game room. The pool area is landscaped and offers comfortable outdoor seating. A bedroom with a pyramid bunk rounds out this level. Ride the all-level elevator to the mid-level to find three attractively decorated bedrooms, two queen master bedrooms with private baths and one queen bedroom with a semi-private bathroom. The hot tub is on the mid-level deck and provides privacy slats. The washer/dryer can also be found on this level. There is another half bath on the landing as you climb to the top level of the home to find the cavernous king master bedroom with flat screen TV, private bath with dual vanity, and access to the top level deck. The great room impresses with vaulted ceilings with wood accents and wood floors. A drink bar with wine cooler is convenient to both the dining area and the seating around the gas-log fireplace and sizable flat screen TV with BluRay player. The kitchen is gorgeous with floor to ceiling cabinets, two sinks, french door refrigerator, and granite countertops. The breakfast bar seats four comfortably alongside the dining table. There is a picnic table in the screened porch for dining outdoors. You can see water vistas from just about every window on the top level, but for the full experience step out the sliders onto the wraparound deck for both ocean and sound vistas, or step up to the loft to JUS CHILL in the daybed with trundle. No matter how you prefer to chill, this home provides every opportunity to do so.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

  • Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
