Complete with a private oceanfront deck, direct beach access, and unparalleled vistas combined with all the amenities of home including, a well-equipped kitchen, cozy furnishings, a primary suite with king bed, private bath, and deck access, Satellite HDTV with DVR. Sea-Appreciate is sure to steal your heart. The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean vistas from every property. All condos have private oceanfront decks, as well as sound side decks for viewing colorful sunsets. Elevator service to all levels makes Durant Station a most convenient choice for all ages: no need to haul suitcases and groceries up long flights of stairs!

Guests are just a few short steps to the ocean via a private wooden walkway. The Hatteras area offers some of the best fishing and sunbathing on the East Coast. At Durant Station, you'll appreciate a host of conveniences including one of Hatteras Island's biggest private pools with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. You'll find the Community Center ideal for calming with friends, conducting meetings, wedding events, and receptions, or simply appreciating the lounge areas, which offer a huge-screen TV, and a complete kitchen on the upper level.

The Durant Station complex consists of three floors, which start about 12 feet above the ground. The parking lot and walks are paved with concrete. All units are charmingly furnished and completely equipped with linens to make your stay comfortable as well as memorable. All Durant Station condos have central A/C, cable TV with streaming, high-speed WiFi for your laptop, solid surface counters in the kitchen, and sprinkler safety systems for your tranquility of mind.

Centrally located on the first floor is a coin-operated laundry facility (which even offers an ocean view). Some units have a stackable washer/dryer (see individual descriptions). A sizable separate fish cleaning station, Bar-B-Que grilles, and outdoor shower facilities complete the picture. The Durant Station Condominiums are located in Hatteras Village, oceanfront on Highway 12. Savor being beachfront and near local eateries and stores. This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.

Located in Hatteras, this condo is on the beach. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and British Cemetery are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf. Traveling with kids? Consider Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
