Marvel at striking sunsets over the sound from the second and third level wraparound decks, and catch ocean vistas from the front porch. The hot tub on level two will put you in vacation mode in no time. Storage racks for windsurfing boards and a wide sandy path to the sound make for painless excursions to the sandy beach, just a fast walk from your back door. The dry entry leads you into the entryway where you find a convenient refrigerator for simple access to beach snacks and drinks. Step up to the second level of the home where you can choose from three bedrooms each with sliders to the soundfront deck - a king master bedroom with private bath and a queen bedroom that shares a bath with a bedroom with two singles. A hall bath and another bedroom with a queen bed complete the second level. From the wide open third level dining room and great room with cathedral ceilings, appreciate comfortable furnishings and gorgeous sound vistas. A powder room is also on this level. A gorgeously appointed tiled kitchen beckons your family's epicures, and a king master bedroom with double soaking tub and double vanity offers an additional getaway with its private soundfront deck. You'll get your 2nd WIND in no time!

  • Summertime is high season in the Hatteras area. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
