The giant 4500-square-foot ocean-side Mas Tequila is ideally detailed with a complete resort furnishings and amenities package. This vacation rental is a very short walk to the subdivision ocean boardwalk. The ground level has broad concrete parking with two carports, two outside showers, a fish station, under under-home entry, and an additional-huge concrete pool with deck furnishings. The first level has a sizable game room with a pool table, dart board, TV, surround sound stereo, wet bar with a mini-refrigerator, full-size refrigerator, and elevator.
All ceilings in Mas Tequila are 9' or higher. The second level has a laundry nook. The well-furnished third-story great room has cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, and a 50' TV. MAS TEQUILA enjoys fantastic ocean and sunset vistas from the enormous east and west furnished outside decks. A good-sized covered ocean deck offers plenty of sun protection. The huge well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and an island bar. The over-the-top dining table shows extraordinary sunset vistas over the west deck. The fourth-story loft has a big game table, wet bar, futon couch, and deck access to expansive ocean vistas.
All bedrooms have TVs, and the ocean-view primary bedroom has deck access to the hot tub and a bathroom with a shower. The second main bedroom has deck access, a walk-in closet, and a full bath with a garden tub and shower. Three guest bedrooms also have deck access; one is ocean-view with a desk.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:
- The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Booking your Hatteras vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

- If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Request details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a certain Hatteras beach you are enamored with, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
Additional considerations:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of problems.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
- At Check-in, document any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible resource to find the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
