Sea Yawl 2 is a family-friendly beach home in enchanting Salvo. The home is comfortable and calming. With a reverse floor plan, the living area is located on the light-filled top floor, while the bedrooms are located on the middle level. This attractively decorated bungalow with multiple amenities is a short walk to the beach access, this will be your family's new vacation hot spot!

Ground Level: The ground level provides plenty of space for parking, water sports & beach essentials, washer and dryer. Tucked under the home you'll find a game room outfitted with shuffleboard and a foosball table, making this the ideal spot for families and friends to gather. Outside areas offer both shaded and full sun. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a gas grille, and a picnic table round out this level.

Middle Level: The middle-level features 3 well-appointed bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. King Master offers deck access, workstation, Roku Intelligent TV, and a private entrance to the shared full bathroom. Also on this level, you'll find a Queen room with deck access and a Roku Intelligent TV. King and Queen rooms have a shared deck with a hammock swing and outside furnishings. Additional room with a Single and Double bed is also located on this floor. The shared bathroom is conveniently located off the hallway.

Top Level: Top level welcomes you with a modern and bright open floor concept. Integrating the living room, dining room, and entirely equipped gourmet kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances, an island, plenty of counter space, and deck access. The kitchen adjoins the dining area and comfortably seats 6 with additional seating around the island. The beautiful living room features natural light throughout, deck access, and is great for watching a movie on the Roku Intelligent TV. The outdoor deck is ideal for dining while you savor the invigorating ocean breeze. There's a full bathroom on this level.

Sea Yawl 2 is ideally suited for modest families and friends. Salvo offers handsome wide beaches, great eateries and stores, walking and cycling paths, museums, close access to both the ocean and the Pamlico Sound, a public park, and a skate park. There is a fun ice cream shop within walking distance from the home and a convenience store with a deli. So pack your bags, this is the vacation home of your dreams.

Please note: The home does not have cable TV. Throughout the vacation rental, there is Wi-Fi connectivity for you to keep up with the world, stream your favorite series, and work remotely.

Linens and towels are supplied all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except sleep couches, top bunk beds, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
