From this location on one of Pamlico Sound’s most revered windsport launch spots, guests can rise with the sun, check the breeze, and hook in for a ride of pure bliss.

Sitting on 90 feet of unrestricted sound front, the home’s first level is the ideal place to relax from a screened-in front porch where a six-person hot tub offers the ideal respite to treat tired muscles to a warm water massage. Also on this level, a modest den featuring a TV offers a separate hideaway for the kids. The adults will find the second level great room more their style … where a huge couch, comfortable chairs and a TV invite complimentary-flowing conversation, entertainment and broad sound vistas. Gleaming stainless-steel appliances, white bead board cabinets, and an eat-at counter with three high back stools highlight a kitchen that is both pretty and purposeful. A six-seat dining table that can expand to accommodate eight inspires long, leisurely meals and the retelling of the day’s best stories as music from the entertainment system plays in the background. Watch the sunset turn the sky into a kaleidoscope of colors from the furnished deck and then drift off to sleep in the home’s three bedrooms, including two queen rooms and a pyramid bunk room with a double and a twin bed.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection.
