OCEANFRONT Hatteras - Summerplace Dr. Take a dip on the wild side in DARE DREAMER. Splash around in the pool while your family grilles up lunch under the pergola. Sit at the tiki bar in the pool area and make a fast drink to sip on as you watch the kids play. Inside, challenge your family to a game of pool in the game room. The first king bedroom is off the game room. A full bath is also found on this level. Go up the stairs, to the second level where you’ll find two master king bedrooms with private baths and you can put the kids to sleep in a room with a pyramid bunk and trundle or a room with a two single beds. Once the kids are asleep, slip onto the deck and take a break in the hot tub. Up the stairs on the final level, fall in adore with the enormous open concept great room. Cozy up on the couch, with a book or play a game on the floor while you watch a movie on the home theater system. The kids can put on a concert with the karaoke machine. Make everybody back home jealous as you share spectacular ocean photos from the top deck and eat lunch on the picnic table while you do it. About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and British Cemetery are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your Hatteras vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
