Count the days until your arrival at the marvelous 7 Day Weekend. This home offers expansive ocean and sound vistas of the National Seashore and features the latest in resort design and furnishings. The ground level has an under-home entry, good parking, and a private pool with a spa. The first level has a furnished recreation room with a game table and a pool table, a full wet bar with a refrigerator, and a microwave, and it opens to the deck.

On level two, four bedrooms open to decks, including the two primary bedrooms. The media room has a 60-inch intelligent TV and laundry room and is also located on this floor.

The cavernous and gracious third-level great room has cathedral ceilings, warm wood floors, and a striking living area centered around an entertainment center with a 60-inch intelligent TV and gas fireplace. Bring your best recipes to this all-star kitchen with a breakfast bar, fresh appliances, and top-of-the-line equipment. Join guests in the sizable dining area with gorgeous vistas. A guest bedroom has a bathroom with a jetted tub and a tile shower and opens to a deck.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation property experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.

Tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact info to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. message the host immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your life at home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
