Walk up the steps to a giant great room with home theater system with 52" LCD/HDTV with DVD player and surround sound, vaulted ceilings, skylights and unlimited vistas of the ocean. A huge kitchen and dining room make this the ideal place for family and friends to stretch out. From the great room you can step outside to the furnished upper deck, relax in the hot tub, or check out the action in the pool down below. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.
