Fiddlestix is the ideal place to relax on elegant Hatteras Island. The home is only 2 tons back from the Atlantic Ocean making it an painless walk over the sand dunes to miles of handsome beaches. It is ideal for collecting shells, going for a walk or sunbathing while appreciating the sights & sounds of the ocean. Sunrises over the ocean & pretty sunsets over
Pamlico Sound make a great beginning & ending to days filled with watersports including kayaking, windsurfing, kiteboarding & deep sea fishing available all along the Outer Banks.

The master bedroom is on the upper main level with a king size bed, bath & flat screen TV with DVD player. The living area has a flat screen TV with DVD player to be appreciated while playing games on the huge dining table. The entirely equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space for preparing meals. There is a screened porch off of the kitchen for viewing sunsets with a glass of wine or having morning coffee. There are many decks with a variety of moveable chairs for different needs.

The lower level has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, and a utility room with full size washer & dryer for your convenience. One bedroom has a queen bed, another has a double bed, & the 3rd has 2 twin beds. All have cable TV with DVD players. There are tons of books for all ages. The ground level has an outdoor shower with hot water to wash away the sand before going inside after a calming day at the beach. There is also room to park 2 cars under the home as well as additional parking in the driveway.

It is located in Salvo, NC in the tri-cities of Rodanthe, Waves & Salvo. The Atlantic Ocean & Pamlico Sound are both visible from the upper deck on this narrow barrier island. The location on Colony Dr. is a nice peaceful street where the sounds of the ocean permeate the peaceful. It is great for walking & bicycle riding or just hanging out. It is convenient for side trips such as Hatteras Island Lighthouse, complimentary ferry to Ocracoke, Pea Island Bird Sanctuary, shopping & dining in Nags Head, deep sea fishing charters, and many, many more.
