SOUNDSIDE Salvo – Wind Over Waves – Everything is more than alright when you discover IT’S ALL GOOD, a six-bedroom/five-full- and two-half-bath home located in an fresh community of gracious homes that share a 100-foot pier and boat ramp on Pamlico Sound. The ocean is just a few blocks away, making this dog-friendly home the ideal getaway for those who really adore to be “caught in the middle.”

Arrive, park and comfortably transport your bags and groceries into the home via a convenient cargo lift. The first thing you’ll notice is the side-yard pool and four-person hot tub, an getaway of relaxation that will have you changing into swimsuits not long after you settle in. There’s also an outdoor shower for added convenience as well. Just inside off the pool deck is a game room featuring a pool table to elevate everybody’s competitive spirit. The room also has a 50-inch Intelligent TV, a full-size refrigerator to keep cold drinks at the ready and a wet bar. Completing this level is a half-bath and a king bedroom suite with a private full bath.

Four more bedrooms occupy the second level: two king master bedrooms — one with a private balcony and one with access to a shared deck — and two bedrooms with two sets of twin beds that share a full hallway bath. The final bedroom, a king master, is on the third level and features a walk-in shower, hottub bathtub and a private balcony. All of the bedrooms include Intelligent TVs.

The third level gives your family the room it needs to spread out and come together, depending on how the prevailing mood winds blow. Gather around the three-seat breakfast bar with your first morning cup of coffee to plan out your day. The kitchen behind it is roomy and well-equipped to efficiently feed a crowd. There’s room for everybody to sit together at one of two tables off to both sides of the kitchen — one that seats six and another that seats eight. Appreciate the option to eat outside on the screened-in porch, a great way to savor the breeze without the bugs. A great room provides plenty of comfortable seating to kick back for some TV watching under the cooling purr of ceiling fans. There’s also a half-bath on this level, and steps to a fourth level ship’s watch featuring a TV, mini-refrigerator and sink for a peaceful escape complete with expansive vistas.

More than anything, it’s the unimaginably colorful sunsets from the home’s multiple decks that will make you realize IT’S ALL GOOD. It’s all waiting for you to book it now.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Rodanthe. To book the best rental home within budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.
