Ideally located, you’ll find Rodanthe Pier Place, Salvo Day Use Area, and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. Spend a day taking a leisurely walk along the pier, playing beach games, birdwatching, or exploring the refuge’s diverse habitats.

Back home, you’re just steps away from the beach for simple swimming, sunbathing, and calming on the sandy shore. Community sound access is ideal for launching windsurfing and kite-boarding gear or exploring the calm, shallow waters in a kayak. Community tennis courts are also within walking distance.
