This side-by-side duplex Villa offers moderate vistas of the ocean and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and is a favorite of our lighthouse enthusiasts. When renting Storm Cottage you have access to a bright and open, completely outfitted kitchen, comfortable living area, and a half bath located on the upper living level, which opens to an ocean side deck. The villa accommodates up to 6 visitors with a master suite with a queen bed, full bath and deck access, and a second bedroom with two double beds and a bathroom. Offering all the basics to get you started on your vacation, such as toilet paper and paper towels, we're certain you'll be happy upon arrival. With access to a resort pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, unlimited beach access, under-home private entry, parking, and outside hot/cold showers make this the ideal choice for a calming vacation. About the Area

Located in Buxton, this cottage is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Lighthouse Beach, while Studio 12 and Kinnakeet Clay Works are cultural highlights. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.
