At this oceanfront location you can sit on the two levels of decks and watch the sea oats sway in the wind as you take in phenomenal ocean vistas. It's a short distance over the single dune border to this pristine stretch of beach. Double carports under the home provide ample parking, and an outdoor shower lets you rinse off before coming in off the beach.

On the second level are 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a game room with pool table and flat screen TV, ideal for indoor fun. Upstairs on the third level, is a cavernous king bedroom with semi-private bath, plus a huge, open great room, dining area, and kitchen with a convenient breakfast bar. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. The décor is bright and cheerful, with splashes of color throughout the home, ideal for a nice oceanside vacation.

When to book a Hatteras rental home & When to go:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
