The space:
“OBX Time” is an upsized property boasting 4,263 square feet, spread across three levels, ideal for multiple families. Every bedroom in this home has its own en-suite bathroom, plus there are two additional half-bathrooms. We also have a pool table and outdoor swimming pool for family fun! For those with mobility struggles there is an elevator that goes to every floor of the home.

Level 1:
The entry is conveniently located in the covered car port via a ramp, ideal for those with mobility struggles. As you enter the home the lower level has a game room with pool table, 43” Intelligent TV and wet bar. The 6th bedroom is also located on this floor has a 32” Intelligent TV and an attached private bath. This level has a half bathroom as well for convenience.


Level 2: The mid-level features 4 generous bedrooms all with private bathrooms, Intelligent TV’s and access to the decks. Bedrooms #2 & #3 both have spectacular ocean vistas, private attached bathrooms, and access to the covered deck via a sliding glass door. Bedroom #4 is a Sound-facing bedroom with a King size bed, 2-twin beds along with a Full-size bunk bed. Bedroom #5 is a Sound-facing bedroom with private attached bathroom.
This level also has access to the covered deck with handsome ocean vistas. This floor is also home to the laundry room with washer, dryer, and an additional full-size refrigerator.

Level 3:
Top floor has an open concept family room with 65” TV and vaulted ceilings. There is a enormous sliding glass door leading to the deck with handsome vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. The broad dining table seats 12 and is ideal for playing board games. The well-supplied kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and countertop bar that seats 6.

Also, on this floor is a half bath in the hallway.
Rounding out the 3rd floor is the Primary bedroom. This upsized room features a sliding glass door leading to the deck which has gorgeous vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. This bedroom has a king size bed along with a twin day bed. If a bit of work needs to be done there is a desk tucked away in the corner for a bit of peaceful work space. The bedroom also has a 50” Intelligent TV for viewing enjoyment. There is an attached additional-huge bathroom with an upsized jetted tub, shower, double sinks and water closet.

Other things to note:
Outdoor Pool: Open seasonally from mid-April to the first week of October. Please note the pool is NOT heated.

Linens: Bed linens supplied as well as 1 set of bath towels per guest. Beach towels are NOT supplied.

Outdoor Grille NOT included. Gas grilles can be rented at numerous locations around town.

Please note that a supply of soaps, shampoo, toilet paper are supplied upon arrival. Extra items needed are the responsibility of the guest.

Parking notes: Please park in the driveway, total max. cars: 6 - Parking on the lawn is not allowed as this may cause damage to the home's septic system. RV is parking NOT allowed in this community per the HOA.

Walk to the beach is less 2 mins.. Beach is accessible via an association boardwalk.

There are two Ring camera located on the exterior of the home. One at each exterior entrance. Both have audio/video capabilities.

Individual items or décor are subject to change occasionally due to wear and tear or damage.

During your stay you may encounter an occasional "uninvited guest." We take every reasonable precaution and employ a monthly pest prevention program with a local licensed pest control company. Despite that you may still encounter bugs or other modest critters in or around the home.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is more powerful than we are. While we will do anything we can to mitigate disruptions during your stay, we do not offer refunds for natural occurrences outside of our control. **Purchasing travel insurance is strongly recommended.**

While we are not local to OBX Time, we have a great team that is. We are available for any questions or concerns via the Vacation Rental By Owner messaging platform between the hours of 9:00 am-9:00 pm.

About the Area

This vacation home is located in Avon. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Surf's Up and Hatteras Island Boardsports are also worth visiting. Looking to get your feet wet? Windsurfing and fishing adventures can be found near the property.

When to book & When to go:

  • To find the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Hatteras attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
