An Oceanside tiny home in placid Frisco. Just a short walk to the beach down serene residential road. Once a glassblowing studio, the home was completely refreshed in March 2020. A new, clean, functional, special, space.
Quite roomy for a "tiny home", the high ceilings and many windows make calming a joy. And the outside brick deck and yard space are great for appreciating Hatteras Island's wild serenity.
About the Area

Tips for getting the best Hatteras rental home experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- To find the largest rental within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Hatteras attractions.
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Hatteras visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Planning, picking, and booking the right Hatteras vacation home:
- Start by choosing vacation dates and a budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Oceanside Tiny House in Beautiful Frisco has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the host before you reserve the property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.
Considerations for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
- Upon check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
