There is also a king bedroom on this level. Take the elevator to the second level featuring four master suites, 2 with king beds, one with two twins and one with 2 sets of bunk beds. On the top level you'll find one more king master with direct access to the screened porch and a bath with double vanities, enormous tub and separate shower. This level also features a crowd pleasing great room with a 36" TV and DVD with surround sound. When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer is high season in the Hatteras area. Book your Hatteras vacation in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
