Getaway with simple oceanfront living at Arizona. This roomy 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home located in the sought-after Hatteras Colony subdivision, is a true treasure. With broad decks and vistas for miles of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, you will be sure to have the vacation of a lifetime.. don't forget your four-legged companion as Arizona is dog-friendly.

Ground Level: Ground Level Conveniences include, oceanfront beach access, an outside shower, an electric car charger, and a carport and driveway that accommodates up to 5 cars.

Level 1: Enter through the front door's covered porch to find 3 cavernous bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a laundry closet. Bedrooms #1 and #2 are each furnished with a Queen bed and have access to the ocean-facing covered decks. Bedroom #3 is furnished with a Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full) and a cable TV. Bedroom #1 has direct access to one of the full hallway bathrooms and Bedrooms #2 and #3 have direct access to the other full hallway bathroom.

Level 2: Make your way up to the next level, which has a great room with plenty of comfortable seating for the entire family and a foosball table for even more family fun.Off the great room is a convenient half bathroom. This level also has a separate media room equipped with a 51' HD TV, Blu-ray DVD player, and Netflix for unlimited video viewing—ideal for a movie nighttime after a day in the sun. The media room has a comfortable wraparound couch that comfortably seats six people. The kitchen has everything the chef in your event needs to prepare your favorite meal or the fresh catch of the day. Savor ocean vistas from the sizable dining area that seats 12. Directly off the living area, you will find access to the sun deck and a partially covered deck with comfortable seating and a picnic table. Start your morning by watching the sun rise over the Atlantic!

Top Level: The top level features an impressive Queen primary suite, bedroom #4, with an Italian four-poster bed, a enormous tiled hottub bathtub with a stand-up shower, and a private ocean-facing deck with expansive ocean vistas.

Extras: 3 TVs, electric car charging, WiFi, traditional coffee pot, Instapot, foosball table, outside shower, covered decks, sun decks, deck furnishings, and parking for 5 cars. No Smoking/Vaping. The fireplace is not for guest use

Linens and towels are included all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for top bunk beds, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

About the Area

Located in Salvo, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to find the best Hatteras vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. To book the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Additional considerations:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Record any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
