A few steps up from the convenient under home entry and furnished gathering getaway is the game room for kids of all ages with a full-size refrigerator, day bed with trundle and 55-inch TV.

The refreshed bedrooms on the 2nd floor includes an ocean-facing king Master bedroom with a 50-inch TV, full bath and a private deck that overlooks the pool; the ideal place for your morning coffee, Keurig & microwave in room too, while appreciating the cool breeze and harmony of the surf. Bedroom 2, the Bunk bedroom, has two pyramid bunkbeds with a 44-inch TV. The Shell bedroom has a queen bed, a 40-inch TV and semi-private access to a full bath.

The top floor’s ocean side deck and screened-in porch has wide broad ocean vistas you will NEVER FORGET; it is the ideal place to relax and watch the waves, relish the sunrise/set and gaze at the stars. The vistas continue in the open concept living area with vaulted ceilings, half bath, 65-inch TV, dining for eight and completely supplied kitchen with new appliances, Keurig and a breakfast island that seats six. The Mermaid bedroom on this level has a completely updated private 3/4 bath and 32-inch TV.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Salvo. Book your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
