OCEANFRONT Avon- Kinnakeet Dr. - To set the ideal tone for your vacation, pick SURF TONES. This north Avon home sets the standard for oceanfront vistas.

The first level has four bedrooms. The 2 oceanfront rooms share a bath, and there is a second bath off the hallway. The two queen bedrooms open directly to a sheltered, wraparound deck with great ocean-to-sound vistas and a hot tub. The broad upstairs great room with cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling windows is light and open and offers delightful ocean to sound vistas in all directions and plenty of room for reading, calming, or entertainment at the game table. The chef in your group will appreciate the kitchen with handy breakfast bar, and you can watch the surf meet the shore from your dining room table. The great room opens to a wide wrap-around sundeck with furnishings and seats for all directions.

The two bedrooms currently featuring single beds are being converted. One will feature a queen bed, and the other bedroom will feature two single bunk beds and one trundle bed. The southeast, ocean-facing bedroom, formerly a queen, will now feature a king bed. Room for more in 2024! All bedrooms have been newly painted and feature new beds, beds, and curtains.
New for 2023: New great room furnishings. New quilts, lamps, and art throughout.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Finding the best rental value:

• In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
• To book the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Hatteras attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
