The kids are sure to appreciate the ground level game room with full size arcade game, table hockey, TV/DVD, couch bed, and a full size refrigerator, accessible by spiral staircase from the great room or door from the carport with full cabana bath just outside on the way to the private pool. Choose from 4 bedrooms on the mid-level including 2 bedrooms (queen, 2 bunk beds) that share a hall bath and queen and king master bedrooms with vistas of the ocean and sliders to the oceanfront deck. The top level is home to the cavernous great room with three seating areas, Intelligent TV, DVD player, wet bar with mini-refrigerator and bar seating, dining area and breakfast bar seating adjacent to the kitchen. The vaulted ceiling, charming ocean vistas and access the oceanfront deck round out this top level experience. Venture up the spiral staircase to the ship’s watch for birdseye vistas of the island, flat screen TV/DVD and poker table. ISABEL'S RETREAT is a calming hideaway to which you'll be yearning to return year after year.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve, while Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your rental budget:

• To get the best value, try changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.
