Blue Fish is the ideal, secluded hideaway for those craving a change of scenery for a while. Bright, open, and casual, this vacation rental puts you just steps from the canal for painless access out to the sound. The open floorplan combines a well-equipped, island kitchen with full-size appliances with a living area with a wall-mounted, flatscreen TV for streaming your favorite shows and movies. Step outside into your furnished, screened-in deck and savor the view, or head underneath the home where you'll find a picnic table for summertime picnics.

Things to Know
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

  • June, July, and August are high season in Frisco. To book the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.

  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
