Divine Wind is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom tower by the sea, only one lot back from the ocean in Waves with beach access directly across the street.
Step into a sea of blue with wood and wicker accents that create a true Hatteras feel. Coastal glass-stained window pieces at the base of the ceiling help illuminate the room. The tower, meanwhile, is a private rooftop reading lounge that's lined with windows, giving you a full 360-degree view. Step outside and bask in the ocean breeze on the tallest deck in the home while experiencing Waves from a bird's eye view.
The base of the home is equipped for preparing your fresh catch, with a fish-cleaning station and a grille. Back inside, venture up past the entryway to the main sleeping quarters. On this floor are three bedrooms and a queen-size sofabed. One of the rooms has two double beds, one has a queen bed, and the other is the primary bedroom. Also supplied on this level are a whirlpool tub, a additional calming space, and a deck which leads up to the main kitchen and living room level.
Unwind and relax in a home that is definitely divine!

Our top Rental booking tips and tricks:
How to get the best rental value:
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guide magazines that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Finding the best rental in Waves:
- Start by having your family decide on the best dates and a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Classic home one lot back from the beach with tower ocean views, decks, WiFi has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before booking your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- If there's an individual Hatteras attraction you are crazy about, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Some things to know before you go:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many difficulties.
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
- To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. Call the property manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
