Welcome to Stella Maris! This charming, bright and airy, freshly-constructed home was designed and furnished to ensure you have the ideal Outer Banks vacation experience!
Located just a short walk to the beach (roughly 0.2 miles), and close to eateries, coffee stores, shopping, and groceries, you’ll never have to travel far to appreciate all that Hatteras Island has to offer!
The attractively decorated great room offers plenty of comfortable seating in a warm, welcoming environment. The dining area offers seating for six, and the striking open, bespoke, well-outfitted kitchen offers additional countertop seating for three, as well as a convenient dishwasher and microwave.
Just off the living area is a screened porch that’s ideal for dining al fresco. There is ample deck space with seating to savor that ocean breeze!
There are plenty of options to rest after a long day of fun in the sun, including a king en suite with a TV and a private bath with a walk-in shower, a queen bedroom with a TV, and a bedroom with both a twin bed and a pyramid bunk. The full hall bath is convenient for both bedrooms.
The exterior features an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after days calming on the beach. Unwind in the hot tub (new for 2025!) before grilling your catch on the charcoal grille. The ideal ending to a ideal day!
Stella Maris is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing family pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet costs range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.

Getting the best value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
- In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses.
